The transition from primary school to secondary school can be both exciting and daunting to many students.
Our Year 6 Transition Program focuses on connecting our students to their new school by increasing student and family networking, developing social skills and providing opportunities for students and families to become familiar with their secondary school environment.
We are part of the Sunshine Catholic Schools’ Cluster Transition Program initiative which aims to help students overcome anxiety, uncertainty and apprehension when leaving primary school and entering secondary school.
Through this initiative we provide students with opportunities to explore and interact in shared recreational activities and inter-school visits which support students in developing strategies to address wellbeing issues.
